Resolution Of The Township Of Lakewood, County Of Ocean, State Of New Jersey, Authorizing The Lakewood Tax Collector To Refund Overpayments By Certain Mortgage And Title Companies On Various Block And Lots

WHEREAS,  overpayments have been received in the Tax Office, for various Block and Lots from certain Mortgage and Title Companies as detailed in the attached Schedule A; and

WHEREAS, the payment(s) totaling $57,329.85 on said parcels were received in error, and created duplicate payments and/or overpayments and are hereby requested to be refunded as per the attached Schedule A;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Governing Body of the Township of Lakewood, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, that the Treasurer be directed to draft checks in the amount of $57,329.85 to the entities named on the attached Schedule A, and the Collector to adjust her records accordingly.
