Resolution Of The Township Of Lakewood, County Of Ocean, State Of New Jersey, Authorizing The Lakewood Tax Collector To Cancel Any And All Property Taxes On Block 189.03 Lot 3.204, Due To Disabled Veteran Exemption | |
| | | | | | | | WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30 et seq. (“Act”) provides that the dwelling house of a 100% totally disabled veteran shall be exempt from taxation upon a proper claim made therefore; and
WHEREAS, John Ford, residing at 204 Woodlake Manor Dr, also known as Block 189.03, Lot 3.204, has submitted the appropriate application and medical documentation to establish that he is a 100% totally disabled veteran as defined by the Act; and
WHEREAS, John Ford is eligible for a tax exemption for his dwelling house effective January 1, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Lakewood, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The Township Committee authorizes the Tax Collector to cancel any and all taxes, penalties and interest due on 204 Woodlake Manor Dr, also known as Block 189.03 Lot 3.204 and authorizes the refund of any taxes, penalties and interest paid on the property for the tax year 2025 as follows:
A. Effective Date January 1, 2005
B. Number of days 365
C. Amount Cancelled $2276.38 (thru 3rd qtr)
D. Amount Refunded $2276.38 (1st thru 3rd Qtr)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Township Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the following:
A. Municipal Manager
B. Chief Financial Officer
C. Tax Collector
D. Auditor
E. John Ford |
